Lots of information about all the choices in year 9. You will probably get a copy of this from your school, or it has its own website. See here for the link.
Careerscape Cascaid
Careerscape has info about hundreds of jobs - what the work is, what qualifications you need, what sort of person succeeds. It's available in all Connexions Centres and many schools and colleges. In school or college you could also find databases called JED or Odyssey, which are similar.

Clips leaflets Connexions

How to Choose Your GCSEs and Post 14 Options - Trotman
This gives plenty of info about GCSEs and how they work, along with some ideas of where they can lead. This book should be in most schools and colleges, and Connexions Centres.
