Breast cancer is very rare in teenagers and women in their twenties, but it is worth getting to know your body and getting into the habit of regular self examinations, so you know what is normal for you. As you're developing, you'll find that your breasts will change shape. You may find that they feel tender or change just before and during your period. But if you notice anything unexpected, or are worried about any changes in your breasts, make an appointment to discuss your concerns with your GP.
