Proof of age

Many organisations need to be sure of your age or identity in order give you access to the products and/or services to which you are entitled.

There are two Government approved age-of-proof/ID card schemes:

Citizencard
Application forms are available from most supermarkets, off-licences, newsagents, post offices and convenience stores or you can download a form from their site at: www.citizencard.com
The standard cost of the card is £9. Application forms for half price cards for over 18s are available from all branches of the following partner companies: One Stop, JD Wetherspoon, Thresher, Ladbrokes and William Hill.
Anyone can apply for a card, but if you are under 16 you do need parental consent.

Validate UK
Log onto their website www.validateuk.co.uk to download an application form. The standard cost of the card is £10 (includes P&P). Anyone can apply for a card.
