Is there a need to sign an agreement or accept any terms and conditions?
Upon activating of g2g Card you are accepting the terms and conditions of the card.

When do I receive my card?
You will receive your card from a worker at school.  This may be a Connexions Worker, Youth Worker or ESLAC Worker.  Some young people may receive it from a Social Worker. 

What do I need to do once I receive my card?
Upon receipt of your g2g Card you must clearly sign the back in the box highlighted “Authorised signature”. Your card must be activated with help of a school-based worker.

When do I get my PIN number?
You will receive your PIN from a school-based worker on the time when you receive your card.

How does my g2g Card work?
Any g2g Card can be used like any Maestro® Card or debit card. You may be asked for your PIN in order to authorise particular transactions. Funds will be immediately debited from your card upon authorisation of any transaction. Once you have activated your card you can view your full transaction history via the website. Please note your card can be used in the categories specified on the website www.purplepigeon.net/g2gcard.

I’ve received my card and it does not work?
Upon receipt of your card you will need to activate your card with a worker. Your card must be activated for use before any funds can be loaded onto your card.

Can I top up g2g Card?
No, you cannot top up your card. Cambridgeshire County Council will be topping up your card with £40 each month for one year on the dates specified on the website.

What happens if I have purchased an item that I wish to return?
Your card will be credited subject to the activity providers refund policy. In some cases the merchant may chose to provide a cash refund or a credit voucher. 

Where can I use my g2g Card?
Your card can be used for purchases of activities and tickets at activity types specified on the website.

My card no longer works, why?
Your card may not work for a number of different reasons.
- Your card is damaged and the magnetic stripe or chip cannot be read.
- You no longer have any balance available on the card.
- The card has been blocked for security reasons, see terms and conditions.
- Your card has expired. Check the expiration date stated on the card.

What are the fees for using my g2g Card?
All fees and charges are available through our Terms and Conditions.

Can I change my PIN?
No, if you lose your PIN, or you think that someone else knows your PIN, please contact Connexions Worker (or other worker) immediately for a replacement card and PIN. 

What happens if I lose my PIN?
You must inform customer services on +44(0)207 127 0009. You will then be sent a new card and your previous card will be void. Your replacement card will be credited with any balances held in your g2g account.

Can I use my card online?
No, your card can only be used at the types of activity providers listed on www.purplepigeon.net/g2gcard

How do I register my mobile phone to my prepaid account?
If you gave your mobile number when your g2g Card was activated, then it will be automatically registered to your card. You can update this number once logged into www.purplepigeon.net/g2gcard under the 'edit account details' section. If your phone is not registered to your prepaid account you will not be able to use the SMS functions available to your card.

What if I change my mobile number?
We advise that whenever you change your mobile number you update this detail in the logged in section of the website, as the SMS functions will not work with your phone unless it is updated first.
