Vacancy service for young people

If you are 16-19 and looking for a job or training, here's more about how we can help:

  • Register with your local Connexions centre and our personal advisers will discuss fully how we can help you find the job you want. We will make sure we keep in touch regularly to check you are getting all the help you need.
  • We can give you advice and information on job hunting skills, benefits, employment rights, interview techniques and wages.
  • If you don't already have a CV - or if you feel your old one needs updating - we can help you create one at your local Connexions Centre - just phone to book an appointment.
  • Our Employer Services Team will send out information through the post when a new job comes in that matches your aspirations, once you have registered with your local Connexions. They will make sure you get the full details of the job and how to apply.
  • Our weekly vacancy bulletin is displayed in local Connexions Centres, schools, colleges, libraries and youth clubs.
  • If you are interested in finding an Apprenticeship, please visit Apprenticeships Online (see the link on this page)
  • If you would like to contact your local Connexions Centre or the Employer Services Team, please call 0800 56 13219.
