Thinking about your option choices at 17 - 18+? Here are some resources which you may find useful.
Moving Forward Connexions
If you are on a one year course - First Diploma, GCSE or a vocational course - this booklet is for you. You should receive this in school or college in late autumn, check with your Connexions Adviser or Tutor if you don't get it.
Moving Ahead Connexions
If you are on a two year course post 16 - A levels, IB, a National qualification or another vocational course - this is for you. You should receive this in school or college in the spring after your course starts, check with your Connexions Adviser or Tutor if you don't get it.
Careerscape Cascaid
Careerscape has info about hundreds of jobs - what the work is, what qualifications you need, what sort of person succeeds plus some information on higher education. It's available in all Connexions centres and many schools and colleges. In school or college you could also find databases called JED or Odyssey, which are similar.
Clips leaflets Connexions
These leaflets are available in your school Connexions library or at your local Connexions centre. There are hundreds of leaflets about individual careers, about what you can do with various school subjects and lots lots more.
